In  certain counties, local councils may offer to collect small amounts of asbestos waste free of charge from domestic properties only. The amounts vary from council to council depending on the local budget. Feel free to contact your local authorities for more info.

Unfortunately though, this would not include removal of asbestos from the building itself. Also, in these instances, the waste is required to be safely wrapped and be ready for transportation.
